Print Recipe

Ingredients

450-500 g inside round roast
1 Can (300g) bamboo shoots
2 green peppers
2 cloves of garlic

Marinade

40 ml soy sauce
40 ml sake
70 ml vegetable oil
3 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Sesame oil
50-70 ml Mye's Stirfry Grill Sauce

  1. Slice beef along the grain into 4-5 cm long, 3 mm thick strips. Place in a bowl and add sake and soy sauce and let mix well with fingers. Add cornstarch to meat and mix well.
  2. Cut bamboo shoots and green peppers into the same size as the meat.
  3. In a deep frying pan or wok, heat oil. Before the oil gets too hot add marinated beef and heat through on low heat. As soon as the meat changes colour, remove from frying pan shaking off as much oil as possible and place aside on a plate.
  4. In the same frying pan, over high heat, stir fry crushed garlic then add vegetables. Return the meat and pour Mye’s Stirfry Grill Sauce. Check the taste and add more if desired. Take off heat. Sprinkle sesame oil on top, toss lightly and serve.

NOTE: Do not stir fry for too long or the vegetables with get soggy.
